  They sell food, which means I don't have to gather it my self. It's nice. This location does not use plastic bags.

  Fresh produce, good selection of items, convenient location. They've stopped using plastic bags, so it's a good idea to bring your own reusable ones.

  Ugh. It's the closest location for most students and the worst location for pedestrians. The north entrance forces anyone east of Allen to walk directly through a windy no-sidewalk dedicated car's alley to get groceries and medicine. Compared to the Sobeys north of the Commons, produce is less fresh and more expensive. If you ever wanted to see the pattern of business investment privileging prosperity, compare the experience of going to this superstore with most others in HRM.

  Not for Gluten or Dairy Free People and Vegans beware...
  
  I am finding it increasingly hard to shop at this Superstore location. The shelf stocking practises are questionable. Items are not stocked for weeks on end with sections of shelf left empty. Items are randomly discontinued as well. I had a staff member tell me I need to try either the large location on the outskirts of the peninsula or go downtown when I asked about a particular product that I needed. They do not carry Gluten Free Club House mixes for gravy, chilli, or any other. Gluten free bread choices are limited, and limited to the ones that are not particularly enjoyable. The only vegan gluten free bread they carried has been discontinued. Their dairy free alternatives leave a lot to be desired (all but the almond milk, there is more than enough of that). They don't carry any Daiya products, or other cheese alternatives. PC lactose free isn't an option because it is still made with dairy.
  
  I wish I could stop shopping there, but it is the only grocery store easily accessible to me. It is making it hard for me to eat on a day to day basis.

  No bags? At all?.... Wish I realised before I got a cart full of grocery's.. won't be returning here. Bah.
