  Good food, good drink selection, great music some days. Serving staff leave the most to be desired at Freeman's - often slow, regularly a little aloof, and sometimes downright rude. Once, after asking why the Quinpool location doesn't have the drink deals of the downtown location, I was told they didn't need to and it was suggested that I go elsewhere if I'm only after deals. Won't let one rude waitress ruin Freeman's for me though, still a great stop for beer on the way home from work.

  Were ignored for 40 minutes, almost left before we were even allowed to order. Took forever to get a check to leave. Tall blonde who was our waiter didn't bring us our food but the blond who did was nice.

  Cheap beers during the week and makes an awesome eggs benny breakfast. Not the kindest of staff though. A few weeks ago i came in for some beer and nachos but after an hour, the waitress asked us to move tables because she wanted to sit some new people down who wanted to eat. I thought it was kind of rude and so instead of moving tables we just left and went to another bar.

  Very tasty! I had the veggie sweet potato burger and it had plenty of flavors, took me out of my comfort zone from what I'm used to but I was pleasantly surprised. I also had the poutine (which is vegetarian) and it was amazing! There's a ton of vegetarian options here, which was pretty great!! My boyfriend had the steak sandwich and said it was amazing as well.
