  Nestled in Bishops Landing on the boardwalk running along Halifax Harbour you'll find A Mano (Italian for by hand). Initially famous for its home made Gelato and Italian-style pizza made in a great pizza oven, they now also serve delicious Italian style meals. Go! Drink fine wine! Enjoy! Watch Italian videos on the big screens!

  While headed to the Bicycle Thief, which seems to always be full, closed or having a private party which was the case this day they did do me one favor. It was suggested that I give Ristorante a Mano a try.
  Wonderful choice. Very accommodating with substitutions. Wonderful suggestions made by my waitress who was ever so patient with me. Must try the Sangria, with Contrieu, some of the best I've had. I ended up with the fried calamari which was excellent along with a baked fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms which was NOT on the menu but once again, extremely accommodating staff. Great atmosphere, good for lunch, dinner, romantic, business or party.

  First time here. Went for lunch. I had the ravioli and it was incredibly good. They make them fresh every day. My partners lunch was really good too. Finished with a scoop of raspberry sorbet.
